HISTORY

Once the traveling secretaries of ECU committed to distant-land evangelism outside the confines of the 4 walls of the university. It became the Missions subgroup in 1985/86 during the tenure of Bro. Mattew Ekundayo. Since then, the unit has been involved in a lot of outreaches both within and outside Nigeria far and near all with the aims of bringing men and women back unto Christ through the preaching of the gospel of Salvation. Distant outreaches in times past has been with the Ife chapter of the Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) and some other mission agencies too like Missionary Crusaders Ministries, Yola.
