HISTORY
Once the traveling secretaries of ECU committed to
distant-land evangelism outside the confines of the 4 walls of the
university. It became the Missions subgroup in 1985/86 during the tenure
of Bro. Mattew Ekundayo. Since then, the unit has been involved in a lot
of outreaches both within and outside Nigeria far and near all with the
aims of bringing men and women back unto Christ through the preaching of
the gospel of Salvation. Distant outreaches in times past has been with
the Ife chapter of the Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) and some other mission
agencies too like Missionary Crusaders Ministries, Yola. At a glance is
